Our cooling tanks come with many standard features helpful in controlling the cooling process of extruded products as they exit the die head of your extruder. Made of 304 Stainless Steel, these tanks are sure to give you many years of service.

An overflow box with a removable filter screen is included to help better control and maintain the level of water in the tank. To increase usability, the tank is mounted on a sturdy, durable support frame with a set of heavy-duty support jacks to provide height adjustment. The support frame is mounted on heavy-duty casters to provide portability. These features allow you to use our tank in different processes and locations throughout your plant.

Proper water flow and supply are maintained through the use of properly positioned fill and drain ports, providing a more controlled and effective cooling process. Use with our air knives for a complete cooling and drying process.

The following options are available to increase the usefulness of our tanks:

• guide bar assemblies - plain and/or grooved to provide control in guiding strands through the tank; keeps strands from intermingling or tangling

• heat exchanger / recirculation system - to provide a closed loop system for controlling water temperature

• stainless steel support frame - carbon steel is standard

• polyurethane or steel casters · spray tanks are also available - for profile, tubing, or pipe applications
